Dr Ian Wallace

Dr Ian Wallace graduated from the University of Adelaide Medical School in 1974. He undertook residency and general surgical basic training in Perth, Western Australia through Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. In 1978, he took up a position at the University of Toronto, Canada, for advanced Specialist training in Otolaryngology. He completed this with a year of research in 1982 before returning to Perth.

Otolaryngology encompasses all the surgery of the head and neck region to include both functional and aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery of the Ears, Nose, Throat, Face and Neck. Dr Wallace is accredited by examination with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology. Dr Wallace now limits his practice to Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery. He is dealing with all aspects of nose and sinus disease, nasal fractures, cosmetic deformity, sinusitis and snoring. He will continue his practice of Facial Plastic Surgery as detailed within this website

Dr Wallace is a member of The Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS), The Australian Medical Association (AMA), The Australian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (AAFPS), The Canadian Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (CAFPRS), The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and The Australasian Rhinological Society.

Dr Wallace has been in practice in Perth since 1983 with his private office or ‘rooms’ in Cottesloe. He operates at Subiaco Private Hospital, St John of God Hospital, Subiaco and Bunbury and South Perth Hospital. He consults in Cottesloe, Subiaco and Bunbury.
